One of the questions we get asked a lot is why our toothpastes contain no fluoride, so we thought we’d break it down for you!
Found in lots of toothpastes, fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral found in many foods and water and is used in some toothpastes as it can help strengthen teeth and reduce the risk of cavities. We choose not to use fluoride in our toothpastes as it has been linked to skin irritation, gastrointestinal problems and an affected immune system. Our mouths are highly absorbent and are the gateway to every system in our bodies, so we choose not risk it!
Fluoride free toothpastes still help fight tooth decay and reduce hypersensitivity, all while avoiding potential concerns like fluoride allergies, dental fluorosis, and fluoride intoxication. Our popular FLUORIDE-FREE Spearmint & Peppermint Toothpaste cater to the growing demand for fluoride-free options, offering a gentle and effective cleaning experience. They contain natural components such as coconut oil, coconut flour, essential oils and menthol crystals, which provide an effective cleanse while caring for the whole oral cavity. Organic coconut flour & fair trade organic coconut oil helps to gently remove plaque and whiten teeth, while organic aloe helps soothe gums.
Our Toothpastes come in two flavours, Peppermint & Spearmint and are Vegan & cruelty-free, with no artificial colours or flavours, carrageenan, preservatives, synthetic sweeteners, or detergent foaming agents and packaged in 100% recyclable packaging.
Our Peppermint Toothpaste has a refreshing peppermint flavour, made using ingredients sourced from controlled organic farming (70%). It is free of synthetic foaming, colouring, flavouring, preserving and sweetening agents. The mouth and gums will be left feeling refreshed-renewed and tingly clean!
